ASTM F 1592 is a Standard Test Method for Detention Hollow Metal Vision Systems (spy holes in prison doors). This standard was created by the American Society for Testing and Materials, ASTM International, which was founded in 1898 as an international standard developing organization that publishes standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services.
